SmartTouch USA's primary performance objective for this high-end residence was to integrate the best technology into the space at a very high level, but without the technology dominating the space visually. It had to be functional, reliable, and easy to use, but not scream out to the family or guests that there is technology everywhere. This is someone's home, and it needed to have all the amenities desired, including shades, lighting, AV, HVAC control, and networking, but it is, ultimately, a modern living space where comfort and aesthetics take center stage. Technology is there to compliment the homeowner's lifestyle and enhance the art that can be found throughout the space. The client is very happy with the results and is left with a modern, upscale environment that is highlighted by spectacular art and furnishings, but with all the technological amenities he desires, incorporated into the space but very easy to use at all times.
