Audio Video Intelligence worked with a long-time customer to design and create an immersive, dedicated home theater for the client’s family. There was just one catch: the house was a new purchase and the client wanted the theater completed prior to move-in day. AVI had under three weeks to design, furnish, install, calibrate, and program this 9.2.4 Dolby Atmos surround system. To accomplish this, AVI collaborated with partners who they knew would be able to deliver high quality product in a timely manner.
The theater is cohesive with the rest of the home using Control 4 as the platform the keep the theater in order to make the operation simple for the family. The theater consists of a 9.2.4 Dolby Atmos surround system achieving powerful audio from Origin Acoustics’ Composer Series Theater speakers powered by top of the line Sony ES receiver. Immersive video is produced with the team of Sony and SI, pairing of a Sony VPL-VW695ES XSRD 4K home theater projector and a 120” Zero Edge Pro screen from Screen innovations with LED backlight for additional dramatic effect.
The visual design of the theater has a contemporary feel with leather seating and LED cove lighting with classic touches including a popcorn machine, candy counter, and tufted panel doors with portholes. The contemporary feel matches the aesthetic of the rest of the house which makes a perfect place to escape away with the family for a couple of hours while still feeling like you’re at home.
