This project was a fantastic opportunity for our team to push the boundaries of our creativity, collective skillset and power to collaborate internally and externally to innovate and design a high-level home cinema set-up taking into account the number of elements working against us.

With the client requesting a larger-than-life screen, our team opted for a 169” 2.35:1 acoustically transparent screen with a Sony VPL-HW45ES projector and a 9.2.4 Dolby Atmos cinema set-up. We were required to ensure the viewing angles and audio quality was optimum for all seats in each of the rows. We customized an intuitive user interface for the client that offered control of the entire set-up from a single point and at the touch of a button.

Completing the project to budget and within the agreed time-frame, this project went on to win two laurels at the 2018 CEDIA Awards – “Best Home Cinema Level I – EMEA” and “Best Home Cinema Level I – Global” along with being highly commended in the “Best Documentation” and “Best Dressed Rack” categories.

Ensuring that the project was industry compliant and audio-video calibrated to the highest standards was our top priority while never over stepping the requirements and restrictions of our client.
